Please Take the time to check the rules for all gamemodes.
It is expected that all players on BAIT have read and understood the rules. "I didn't know" is not a valid excuse to breaking the rules.
All rules listed are made with Common Sense in mind. If you think something would be breaking the rules or are just not sure either don't do it or ask Staff.
Staff have the ability to interpret rules in a way that is for the best interest of the server. Do not argue with them.
Staff are more then willing to answer any question you may have about the rules.

As the owner or creator of any third party chat and/or group relating to BAIT it is your responsibility that our rules are upheld. If we receive reports that rules are being broken, and we believe that you are either allowing or refusing to take action, you will be punished to the same degree as the rulebreaker.

- Do not Hack
- Do not Exploit
- Duplication, X-ray glitches (or Resource Packs), or any unintended bugs that provide an advantage over other players
- Do not assist someone who is breaking the rules
- Loopholes in the rules can still result in punishment
- Alt accounts cannot be appealed

- Do not be a toxic player
- Keep profanity at a minimum
- No harassment
- No hate speech
- No advertising
- No spamming

- Killing players outside of any designated PVP area is not allowed
- Inappropriate builds are not allowed
- Autofarms are allowed as long as they do not effect server performance
- Griefing or messing with other peoples islands is not allowed.
- Lava casting can result in your island being deleted.
Creative Rules
All general server rules apply. It is expected players have read and understood all rules.

- Builds that purposely impact server performance are not allowed
- Inappropriate builds are not allowed
- Be respectful towards other players' creations
- Tutorials are not allowed
- Redstone is exempt from this so long as you give credit on your build
- Clean up any builds you make before unclaiming any areas
SMP Rules
All general server rules apply. It is expected players have read and understood all rules.

- Griefing and Stealing from other players is not allowed
- Player Vs Player must be mutually agreed upon
- Autofarms are allowed as long as they do not effect server performance
- Teams are managed by whoever creates them, team leaders can choose who can and can't join their team so long as it's for a valid game related reason
- Ownership of builds and items are determined by the people who built/obtained. Being on a team does not have any determination in ownership.
